Gate Access Changes in 2026 – Update

East Lake Woodlands Community Association  (ELWCA) abandoned their Envera gate system that required changeover to new RFIDs.

The plans are that all existing barcodes & RFIDS will continue to work at all gates however they are implementing a new guest access system called Cellgate.

It will be critical to ensure you are properly registered and your contact information is up to date with the ELWCA so you will be able to allow gate access for your guests & visitors. Please refer to the ELWCA_Access_Control_Registration_Form_RFID.pdf

They are also rolling out an online system and mobile app. (some of you may have already got an invitation email from alerts@cell-gate.com) ELWCA will be running demo meetings.

The purpose is to allow you to generate one time “QR” codes for your guests so they can use a designated guest lane for faster access and better security controls.

RECAP: There are no changes for resident access, however the system is meant to make guest access easier. Guards will still be at the key gates to deal with general guest access and deliveries.

As a reminder: Condo 5 Association is not a paying member of the East Lake Woodlands Community Association (as such do not have a voice/vote) but are impacted and serviced by the gate/security decisions of the larger community.
